Today marks the anniversary of one of the most tragic events in our nations history. I ask that you honor the hero's by celebrating their lives. It is so easy to hate and blame and want to get even. Getting even has never gotten anyone anywhere good.
Today I ask that you reach out to your loved ones to let them know how very much they mean to you today and every day.
Today I ask that you thank a veteran for the Freedom we all enjoy everyday because of the sacrifices that they have made to keep us free.
Today I ask that you forgive those who have hurt you, set the burden of pain down and walk away from it.
Today I ask that you be the change you want to see in the world.
Today I ask you to love yourself so that you can love your neighbor.
Today I ask you to be clear about what really is important to you and make that your new priority.
Today I ask you to be the very best you that you can be.
At the risk of sounding preachy - I am VERY proud to be an American because even with all of the challenges we face it's the GREATEST country in the world. We enjoy the greatest freedoms and greatest opportunities. We are the kindest, most generous nation in the world and always at the ready to lend a hand. I believe in this great country and my fellow Americans. God Bless America and God bless you my friends.
